210,000 Passengers to Pass Through Bakauheni into Java Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry's Bakauheni Checkpoint has noted that at least 210,000 passengers from Sumatra will be making their trip back to Java through the Port of Bakauheni in Lampung, on the fourth day after the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
According to information obtained at the checkpoint on Wednesday, 647,800 passengers came through Bakauheni and onwards through to Sumatra, which means that there will be at least 437,165 passengers which have yet to make their trip back into Java.
The Executive Director for ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Danang S Baskoro, sakd that the influx of returning homecoming passengers are expected to continue streaming until Sunday, July 26, 2015 - when the number of passengers are expected to reach its peak.
