TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Entering three days before Eid al Fitr, homecomers began to crowd the Pulogadung Terminal, East Jakarta. The peak of the homecoming season in terminal is predicted to happen on two days before Eid al Fitr on Saturday.
"Starting on seven days before Eid al Fitr, we have departed 43 buses and 10,411 passengers from Pulogadung Terminal," expressed Head of Pulogadung Terminal, Muhammad Arafat, Friday.
He stated that most homecomers are heading to some cities in Java Islands, like Tegal, Pekalongan, Cilacap, Jepara, dan Kudus.
"Factory employees have gotten day off, while other employees will get it tomorrow. Predictably, the peak of the homecoming would happen tomorrow afternoon," he told.
He reminded the homecomers do not hesitate to depart from Pulogadung Terminal, because his side has cooperated with the autobus company (PO) to provide additional buses during homecoming season.
"For the homecomers who feel disadvantaged by the PO, related to bus tariff can be reported to the terminal. We will directly report it to Transportation Ministry," he said.
