TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Attorney General Office Basrief Arief said he had asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent (Ret.) Comm. Gen Susno Duadji from leaving Indonesia. He asserted that Susno, the former head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police (Plori) Headquarters, will be arrested.

On Wednesday, April 24, a team from the Attorney General's Office attempted to arrest Susno at his home in Bandung, West Java. Susno denied the arrest and sought protection from the West Java Police.

The Attorney General's Office, Basrief added, continues to monitor Susno's activities. "We are also coordinating with the Police Headquarters to monitor him," he said.
