Prabowo-Sandiaga`s Vision Mission: Just and Prosper Economy

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The coalition of Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno has drafted vision and mission for the 2019 Presidential Election. Referring to the copy of documents Tempo received, Prabowo-Sandiaga pair:

"To realize a just, prosperous, dignified, religious, sovereign Republic of Indonesia that has an independent economy, strong national personality in the culture and ensure a harmonious life among citizens regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, ethnic and social background based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia."

The vision is detailed in five missions as follows:

1. Developing fair and quality national economy that concerns on the society, prioritize the interest of people of Indonesia through the economic politics which in line with Article 33 and 34 of 1945 Law.

2. Developing intelligent, healthy, quality, productive and competitive people of Indonesia in a safe, harmonious, peaceful and dignified life, protected by even social security without discrimination.

3. Enhancing justice in the law that is not bias and transparent, as well as realizing the unity of the Indonesian people through a quality democracy based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

4. Rebuilding the noble values of the nation's personality to realize a just, prosperous, dignified, faithful, and pious of Indonesia according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Article 31 (3).

5. Establishing an independent national defense and security system to maintain the territorial integrity of Indonesia.

The vision-mission is entitled “Empat Pilar Menyejahterakan Indonesia” (four pillars for Indonesia welfare), followed by a tagline “Sejahtera Bersama Prabowo-Sandiaga” (prosper with Prabowo-Sandiaga).

The four pillars in question comprised of the economy, people welfare, culture and environment, as well as politics, law, defense, and security. Each of the pillars has the number of program plans.

In the 8 pillars of the economy noted 36 action programs, 9 people welfare pillars (29 programs), 10 culture and environment pillars (18 programs), and 7 pillars of politics, law, defense, and security (26 programs).

Gerindra Party deputy secretary general Andre Rosiade today, September 26, confirmed the document as the vision and mission of Prabowo-Sandiaga pair. However, Andre added, it is still in the form of a draft that needs further completion.
