TEMPO.CO, Palembang - All 40,000 tickets to watch the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony are booked. Tickets for the event, which would take place on September 2, were sold in 24 minutes after sales they went on sale yesterday, August 28.
The 2018 Asian Games Committee (INASGOC) chairman said in Palembang today that the online sale was a success.
Although all tickets are booked, there is a possibility for a sales reopening if there are buyers who canceled their purchases and ask for refunds.
Erick said some tickets have been paid in full while some have not—and for the latter, there is a possibility that the purchase might be canceled.

"I haven’t checked how many were paid in full and how many were not, since the sales only happened last night," he said.
The closing ceremony will take place next Friday in Jakarta. Erick promised to present a better show that the spectacular, fireworks-heavy opening ceremony last week. A number of local and international artists are ready to perform.
The ceremony will also include a hand-over procession to China as the host of the next games in 2022.
The 2018 Asian Games kicked off on August 18 in Jakarta and Palembang.
