Minister Jonan Urges Taxpayer To Report SPT On Time

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ignatius Jonan urged all taxpayers to comply with the regulations in performing their obligations.

“I appeal to the whole community, to fill the Annual Notice (SPT) on time, if possible before 31 March (2018), fill it well and correctly,” said Jonan after filling SPT in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 6.

According to Jonan, with all the service simplicity offered by the Tax Directorate General (Ditjen), it should be there are no taxpayers who complain and disobey their obligations.

“I feel the staff of the Tax Directorate General has the better service,” he said.

Jonan who claimed he had worked as a tax consultant, said that the public should be familiar with tax obligations. The taxes will be reused by the government to support national development.

As according to the strategic plan (Renstra) Tax Directorate General until 2019, taxpayers compliance target reaches 80 percent of the total taxpayers who are required to report the SPT.
