Sandiaga Uno Wants Jakarta Lakes to Become Water Recreation Sites

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Sandiaga Uno wants the Jakarta lakes to be used as water recreation sites.
“Seeing the successful of Sunter Lake Festival which held on Sunday, February 25, I want other lakes in Jakarta can also be used to hold similar events,” said Sandiaga at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday, February 26.

According to him, there are still many lakes in Jakarta which has not been utilized optimally, but the benefits can be felt by the entire community.
He wanted to keep the condition of the lake to be clean and beautiful, it takes role and participation of all residents. Thus, it is not only the responsibility of the Jakarta Administration.
If there are good participation and cooperation between Jakarta Administration and residents, Sandiaga Uno said, and then all efforts that have been done together will not be in vain.
