TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - St. Lidwina Church in Bedog, Sleman, Yogyakarta, installed CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) after the attack done by Suliyono by using a sword when the Catholics were attending a mass service led by Father Edmund Prier SJ.
“Previously, there was no CCTV. It was just installed today,” said the Parish Leader of Santa Lidwina Church Yohanes Mateus Soekatno on Tuesday, February 13.

The church is also considering to hire a security guard. “But it's still being discussed. Whether the security guard will be employed part-time or permanent” said Soekatno.
Until Tuesday, February 13, the St. Lidwina church is still seen crowded. A number of workers are seen fixing up some parts of the church. A group of community also visited after the attack on last Sunday. They give moral support to the church and the people there. “This is the part of the trauma recovery effort,” Soekatno said.
