TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport operator will deploy 1,300 personnel to secure passenger traffic on Chirstmas and New Year holidays.
“We are fully ready to provide the best service,” says Yanus Suprayogi, the general manager of Ngurah Rai Airport in Kuta.

Yanus says that the number of personnel will rise once backed by the National Police, the Air Forces, aviation authorities, the National SAR Agency (Basarnas), airlines, etc.
In addition, the airport operator has established an integrated outpost to monitor air traffic on Christmas and New Year holidays.

The outpost is located at the domestic flight terminal to help passengers and enhance coordination between agencies. Yanus said that the outpost will operate for 22 days until January 8, 2018.
Meanwhile, Ngurah Rai Air Base Commander Colonel Wayan Superman said that his office is cooperating with relevant agencies to help secure Ngurah Rai Airport.
