Budi Waseso said the cooperation seeks to prevent drug smuggling through the utilization of transportation facilities and prevents drivers from becoming addicted to drugs.
"It aims to help create drug-free infrastructure facilities for the people," Budi Waseso said.
He added that the partnership will also help boost anti-narcotics campaigns at transportation facilities such as airports, bus stations, and airports.
"We will increase the campaign in every transportation sector," he said.
Meanwhile, Minister Budi Karya specifically said that this cooperation also aims to conduct research on potential drug smuggling in vulnerable areas, such as the ports along the eastern island of Sumatra, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and the Kualanamu Airport Medan.
"I appreciate this cooperation, therefore, we will conduct researches later," said Budi Karya.
