President Jokowi to Open E-Commerce Summit and Expo Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-President Joko Widodo is scheduled to open the Indonesia E-Commerce Summit and Expo (IESE) in Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD Tangerang, Wednesday, April 27, 2016.

The international event adopting the theme “The New Digital Energy of Asia” will feature 72 local and international speakers, among others, Rudiantara (Communications and Information Minister) Thomas Lembong (Trade Minister), Triawan Munaf (Creative Economy Agency Chairman), Kartini Wiroatmodjo (President Director of Bank Mandiri), and Mari Elka Pangestu (former tourism and creative economy minister).

Emirsyah Satar (Chairman of MatahariMall.com), Rajan Anandan (Managing Director of Google SEA & India), Mitch Barns (Global CEO of Nielsen), Nadia Tan (Head of SMB SEA Facebook), Nadiem Makarim (CEO & Founder of GOJEK), and Roger Egan (CEO & Co-Founder of Redmart) will also paricipate in the event.

At least 150 exhibitors active in e-commerce industry will participate in the IESE.
