TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, is set to visit Indonesia on February 1 to February 2. Orban's two-day visit will be aimed at building stronger relationship between Hungary and Indonesia through trade and cultural exchange.
The Prime minister will hold a bilateral meeting with President JokoWidodo on February 1. Hungarian Ambassador to Indonesia Judit Nemeth-Pach said that there will be a lot of focus on business and education. "These sectors will help our countries to better understand each other," Judit said.
In the same occasion, both countries will sign two Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture, as well as in higher education. Nemeth-Pach said that the Hungarian government will grant 50 full scholarship for Indonesian students to study in Hungary.
Orban will be accompanied by half of the Hungarian cabinet, including the Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto, the Agriculture Minister Sandor Fazekas, the National Economy Minister Mihaly Varga, the National Development Minister Miklos Sesztak and the State Minister for Higher Education Laszlo Palkovics.
During the state visit, Orban will oversee the Hungarian Business Forum, organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and the Hungarian Trading House. It will be attended by sixty businessmen and representatives of various institutions from the central European country.
