Asian Games 2018; 8 Soccer Teams Arrive in Bekasi on August 8

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Eight soccer teams from countries participating in the Asian Games 2018 are scheduled to arrive in Bekasi, West Java on August 8, or 10 days before the opening ceremony.
Head of Bekasi District Culture, Youth and Sports Agency, Nani Suwarni, said on Tuesday that the eight countries are Japan, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Nepal who are in Group D.
Besides, there is also North Korea, Saudia Arabia, Iran and Myanmar who will be in Group F in the elimination round of Asian Games.
“Initially, only Group D that will compete here, but yesterday there was a change of schedule from the central committee or Inasgoc. They decided the Group F elimination will be also held here,” said Nani.
The eight teams are scheduled to be accommodated at Hotel Harper Cibatu and Hotel Cellectonin Jababeka after they arrive in Cikarang, Bekasi.
Nani stated the Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee or Inasgoc will hold a meeting for the competition coordination and stadium introduction with representatives of the participating countries.
“The meeting will determine the practice schedule for each participant towards the official competition,” said she.ANTARA
