TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Lecturer of the University of Indonesia Rocky Gerung was reported to Polda Metro Jaya by Permadi, the Chairman of Cyber Indonesia in relation to Rocky's statement during the Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) show aired on TV One on Tuesday night, April 10, 2018.

Permadi called on witnesses such as the Secretary-General of Cyber Indonesia Jack Boyd Lapian and member of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Guntur Romli. According to Jack, Rocky's statement has violated the values of religious holy books.

"Scriptures are fictional and there is still more narration," Jack said quoting Rocky's statement on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Jack said that the report was submitted to the Police at around 5:00 PM, April 11, 2018. Jack claimed to have a footage evidence of Rocky Gerung's statement on the tv program. "[The footage] is official from ILC Youtube channel," Jack said.

According to Jack, Rocky violated Article 28 (2) in conjunction to Article 45 (1) of the Law of Information and Electronic Transaction. Sanction applicable for the violation is a maximum of 6 years in prison and/or a maximum fine of IDR 1 billion.
