Indonesian President Jokowi (White shirt) and the Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan are seen checking up on the Athlete Guesthouse at Kemayoran for the Asian Paragames 2018 athletes.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said the policy of former-Alexis entertainment venue, 4Play Club and Bar Lounge, closure is under his control.

According to Anies, the control includes all information that spreads out to the public. The policy also applies to the plan of controlling tourism business other than Alexis group.

"I even said to the Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno that I will take care of the tourism business policing," said Anies at Jakarta City Hall, Friday, March 23.

Jakarta Administration planned to forced closure the 4Play Club and Bar Lounge, or formerly Alexis Hotel, but the internal letter of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) was publically circulated on Thursday, March 22.

In the letter, Satpol PP requested the assistance of personnel deployment from the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) as many as 325 personnel to do the forced closure.

However, the closure has not done yet and the governor disapproved on the deployment of 325 personnel since he considered it as the old ways. Anies also did not deny that the request did not seek his approval.

"I affirm that the problem is not about the leak of the letter, but the content of the letter that is not in line with the ways we want to apply in the Jakarta Administration," said Anies Baswedan.
