TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Commissioner Argo Yuwono confirmed that the Jakarta’s Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno had been reported to the police on Tuesday, January 9, for an alleged fraud involving a land sale at Kadu Village, Tangerang.

The person who reported Sandiaga was Fransiska Kumalawati Susilo. According to her, the fraud happened in 2012 where Sandiaga and his business partner Andreas Tjahyadi sold an acre stretch of land for Rp12 billion. “That single stretch of land had three certificates,” she explained.

According to Fransiska, from the three separate lands, there was a 3,000-meter land owned by Djoni Hidayat that got sold by the company owned by Sandiaga and Andreas, Japirex. Both men transferred the land title owned by Djoni into their company’s asset.

Fransiska argued that Japirex had taken control of the land without holding a general shareholder’s meeting (RUPS), which should have been done when a company intends to purchase a piece of land.

“A sale and purchase agreement must be present in a transaction process. This one has none, how can the land title be transferred and then get sold? It’s strange,” said Fransiska, “Something must have been forged,” she continued.

Furthermore, she explained that Sandiaga and Andreas were entrusted to own respectively 40 percent and 60 percent of the company that was previously owned by Edward Soeryadjaya.

Fransiska claims that she had already attempted to resolve this matter privately with Sandiaga Uno, however, the Jakarta Deputy Governor never responded. “My contact number was even blocked by him,” she said.
