TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno plans to employ the employees of Hotel Alexis and Alexis therapy clinic that were recently closed by the Jakarta administration.
“We will [collaborate] them with the OKE OCE program. The hotel (Alexis) employees will be relocated to other similar hotel industries,” said Sandiaga Uno today on October 31.
Sandi, as he is often called, said that the former workers will be guided to other jobs with the help of the employment agency head. He reasons that there are plenty of employment that is included in the OKE OCE program that will be able to accommodate them.

“They can enter the beauty and spa program, which is open-based where we can direct them to become wedding makeup artists,” Sandi explained.
Last week, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan decided to expire the business permit of Hotel Alexis. His decision is stated in a reply letter sent by the Jakarta Investment Agency and One Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) on October 27.
The issuance of the letter, according to Anies, is the government’s legitimacy to close the business. This means that Hotel Alexis is prohibited to run its businesses after its business permit expired.
