Those Involved in Hiding Setya Novanto Will Face Criminal Charges

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that those who hide or obstruct the investigation of e-KTP graft case with House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto as a suspect will face criminal charges.
"Those who attempt to hide or obstruct the investigation of e-KTP graft case or other cases, they are facing a risk of criminal charges as stipulated in article 21 of Corruption Law," KPK Spokesman Febri Diansyah said on Friday, Nov. 17.

The Article 21 of Law No. 31/1999 amended by Law No.20/2001 stipulates the eradication of corruption.
Setya Novanto is currently undergoing treatment at Cipto Mangun Kusumo General Hospital (RSCM) after being transferred from Medika Permata Hijau Hospital for suffering single-vehicle collision in Permata Berlian area in South Jakarta on Thursday evening.
