TEMPO.CO, Bali - Bali Tourism Department in Badung recorded that 15,000 domestic and international tourists visit Uluwatu Temple each day.
"Uluwatu Temple, situated in Pecatu village, South Kuta, is visited by 15,000 tourists to enjoy the natural scenery and watch the attraction of kecak dance," the tourism department head I Made Badra said in Mangupura on Saturday, Oct. 14.

He stated that Bali's Uluwatu Temple is the icon of the local government since it stands strong on the edge of a steep cliff with breathtaking ocean view.
He expressed that the agency will collaborate with small enterprises (UKM) and National Handcraft Council (Dekranas) in North Badung to exert positive impact and boost the local economy.
Based on data from Badung Tourism Department, the number of international tourists visiting the Bali's region in the period of January-September 2017 was 4.5 million visitors with 23.18 percent increase compared to the same period in 2016.
