Agri Sector Should be Included in Policy Package: Economist

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Economist from the Institute for Development of Economics And Finance Bustanul Arifin hoped that the next economic policy package would be more detailed and include agricultural sector.

According to Bustanul Arifin, although the newly introduced package is quite good, it only focused on industrial sector.

"Agricultural sector is also very important for the country’s economy,” Bustanil said in Jakata on Saturday (12/9).

Bustanul further said that the economic policy package in the agricultural sector could be in the form of ease of financing and it will help develop farmers, especially in financing to get seeds, lands and fertilizers.
