Jokowi: Infrastructures in West Kalimantan Border Completed in 2

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo said that the development of infrastructures in the border areas in West Kalimantan would be completed in two years. He said, the progress of the development of the border areas is evident.
"Please come to Entikong (a border city in West Kalimantan – Malaysia border) and see the progress of the development there. You can check whether it has begun or not," the President said to reporters on Sunday, August 23.
"For streets alone, there is 700 kilometer of road that has to be completed. In two years, it can be completed,” Jokowi said.
For the record, a street with the width of 20 meters in Entikong sub-district, Sanggau regency, West Kalimantan Kalimantan Barat is currently being built.
The development of border areas also includes the Entikong checkpoint with international standard.
Entikong sub-district can be reached with a 10-hour driver from Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan. It is a sub-district connecting Indonesia with Tebedu District in the state of Serawak, Malaysia.
