TEMPO.CO, Manchester – Manchester City defender Micah Richards will move to Fiorentina for season-long loan.
"Micah Richards has joined Serie A side Fiorentina until the end of the season,” wrote Manchester City on its official website on Tuesday.
Manchester City captain Vincen Kompany also tweeted about Richard’s transfer to the club. "#MCFC club legend! Proud to have played 6 years alongside this man. Congratulations and good luck at ACF-Fiorentina my brother #forzaMicah,” wrote Kompany.
Micah Richards made his debut in Manchester City on July 1, 2005. He has defended City 246 times, scored nine goals and gave 14 assists.
The 26-year-old will be in Fiorentina until June 20, 2015. Fiorentina transferred 7.9 million pounds to Manchester City for Richards’ loan.
