TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti seemed to take Khedira's leaving to Arsenal with no burden on his shoulder. With recent rumors reporting Arsenal's signing the German midfielder, Ancelotti has requested Madrid's management to prep him a player to sign, Chelsea's midfielder Ramires.
Ancelotti's preference over Ramires can mean that Toni Kroos is not likely to set foot on Bernabeu. However, Marca reported that the transfer is unlikely to happen as Ramires is one of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's preferred players in the midfield area.
Khedira having had one year left in his contract, has said that he does not plan to extend his contract. On hearing so, Arsenal, who have been quite ambitious in summer's transfer window, are set to sign the player, amid the salary settlement issue between the club and the player.
