TEMPO.CO, Bandung - Ajax Amsterdam coach, Frank de Boer, said he was happy that Tottenham Hotspur are targeting him to be their manager. However, the former Dutch national player in the 1990s reiterated that he will focus on Ajax for the time being.
"Hotspur has not offered any contract. So the chance is fifty-fifty, and I’m happy at Ajax," de Boer said after a friendly match against Persib Bandung at Jalak Harupat Stadium last night.
Earlier, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly to recruit de Boer to replace Tim Sherwood. Sky Sports reported that de Boer was interested to manage the Spurs. The club was impressed by the Dutch’s achievement winning Eredivisie title with Ajax.
