TEMPO.CO, Washington - Edward J. Snowden, the National Security Agency (NSA) whistleblower, has denied allegations stating that he was working for the Chinese Government as a spy. He also insisted that he did not handed over the NSA data to the Chinese Government.
Snowden escaped to Hong Kong as a NSA worker, and revealed that the United States Government has gathered data from the internet to monitor a person's activities since 2007.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney has accused Snowden of treason by stating that he was a Chinese Spy. Snowden sarcastically responded that if the rumors are true, he would have escaped to Beijing, instead of Hongkong, for a political asylum.
