TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Anti-terror Special Force, Densus 88, surrounded a terrorist suspects' house in Cigondewah Hilir Village, Bandung, this afternoon. The suspects consist of armed four people.
Gunshots were heard 50 meters away, as confirmed by TEMPO reporters on the scene. "The shootings began earlier at nine this morning. I was told by the cops to step away (Densus)," said Mamad, a local resident.
Mamad confirmed that the target live in a rented house. "The house was rented for a month. I don’t even know them. They usually came back home in the evening," said Mamad.
Nearby, the Cimahi and Bandung Police Department seems to gather around, with West Java Vice Chief of Police, Brigadier General Rycko Dahnels and the Head of Bandung Precinct, Abdulrahman Baso.
Commisioner Sujana, the Head of Crime and Investigation Unit of Cimahi Precinct, confirmed that Densus 88 raided the house. "There are four suspects, and they have not surrender, yet. I have not been told about their identity," said Sujana on the scene.
