TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:PT Kimia Farma Tbk has allocated Rp180 billion for next years capital expenditures. The funds will be taken from internal cash, said PT Kimia Farma CEO Syamsul Arifin on Thursday in Jakarta. The money will be used to build new factories and to fund other businesses in the health sector. We are also planning to establish ten apothecaries next year, said the CEO. Furthermore, the company has allocated half of its capital expenditures valued at around Rp105 to Rp150 billion for industrial and IT requirements.Kimia Farma, in cooperation with Chinese pharmaceuticals firm Tianjin King York, has been planning on constructing a factory in Cikarang, West Java, since 2010. However, the plan was unrealized because both companies have yet to reach an agreement on shares distribution.
