10 Best Supercars in 2024, from the Fastest to the Most Exotic

24 August 2024 23:32 WIB

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The ongoing debate about the best supercars shows no sign of abating in the near future. Supercars continue to attract people from all walks of life for their speed and in-car comfort. The sensational appearance as well as its remarkable performance cost great fortunes in which many people are eager to pay a hefty amount of cash.

Here is the list of 10 best supercars in 2024, according to Auto Express and Autocar

10 Best Supercars

1. Ferrari 296 GTB

Best known for its hybrid plug-in, the Ferrari 296 GTB is dubbed as the best supercar for its remarkable performance at a fair cost. The car is equipped with the new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that's complemented by a 164bhp electric motor.

The cost of a Ferrari 296 GTB starts at £250,000. While some car enthusiasts regard the car as a mid-range Ferrari, this 296 GTB has varying exceptional performances in terms of speed as it takes the car a staggering 15.5 miles of electric-only range.

2. Maserati MC20

Maserati's latest supercar is a diva this year as it marks the resurgence of Maserati in the supercar field. Ranked second in the best supercar, it immediately becomes an eye candy for its appealing look.

Maserati MC20 delivers its exceptional driving experience with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This particular machine offers 621bhp that ranges from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds.

A drop-top version of the Maserati MC20 is now available, adding to the car's pile of charming points.

3. McLaren Artura

The Artura is McLaren's first plug-in hybrid supercar series. Although the car has gotten a bumpy start due to its delayed release, it still has the impressive performance to be placed as the third-best supercar.

The car uses a wide-angle twin turbo V6 mated to an electric motor as well as a 7.4kWh battery, boosting performance up to 19 miles of electric-only driving. The Artura is capable of reaching nearly 62 mph in just three seconds, as quoted by Auto Express.

4. Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

The Huracan Tecnica is the perfect suit for those who want to be more subtle in their supercar, as it is equipped with a relatively soft suspension among other series. The lack of aerodynamic parts in the engine blends the Huracan Tecnica with more down-to-earth cars.

However, it still delivers the best performance of a supercar, offering an exciting driving experience with 0 to 62 mph in a shot of 3 seconds. Its superb speed comes from an engine of V10 revs to 8,700 rpm.

5. McLaren 750S

The McLaren 750S has earned its relatively high position in the rankings of the best supercars due to the driving experience it offers. The car's remarkably powerful engine is a twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 740 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque.

The McLaren 750S has earned its relatively high position in the rankings of the best supercars because of the driving experience it offers. The car's remarkably powerful engine is a twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 740bhp and 800 Nm of torque.

Although many supercar fans have noticed a decline in the 750S since its first release in 2017, the car still offers an exceptional driving experience, pushing it up to the fifth position.

6. Ferrari 812 GTS

The Ferrari 812 GTS shows significant growth from its predecessor with a 6.5-liter V12 engine delivering 789bhp. It also offers more comfort, complemented by the sleek appearance of an open roof.

Shorter gearing and quicker shifts than its predecessor make the series an even more intriguing supercar in the industry.

7. Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is an excellent successor to the 911 GT3 series. Its engine delivers 518bhp that sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds top. The car is also equipped with remarkable brakes that can perform from 70 mph in just 38.8m, attracting even more attention from people.

8. Chevrolet Corvette C8

The classic Chevrolet Corvette C8 delivers a V8 engine, offering a driving experience that achieves up to 3.5 seconds for 0-62 mph. The car's top speed can be reached at 184 mph, earning it a place in the supercar elite.

9. Noble M500

Known for preserving the architecture of the classic car, the M500 uses the same twin-turbocharged 550-bhp 3.5-liter V6 found in the Ford GT. Much to its rather old innovation, the series offers a six-speed manual transmission.

10. Aston Martin DBS

Closing the list of best supercars with Aston Martin DBS, which now serves as one of the oldest models in the British supercar lineup. The top speed of the car can be reached at 211 mph with 0 to 62 mph reached in 3.4 seconds.

The list of best supercars may change from time to time due to the recent release in the industry.
