TEMPO.CO, JakartaEid holidays have arrived, signaling a long holiday with family being celebrated. Tourist destinations have also begun to be filled with people enjoying the Eid holiday. One of the cities that is always visited during the holiday season is Bandung.

Bandung is one of the most popular vacation destinations in West Java. Lembang is the main destination because it provides interesting tours with beautiful and cool natural beauty. However, Bandung also provides religious tourism that the general public can enjoy.

Bandung religious tourism provides the beauty of mosques that can be enjoyed while worshipping. Here are some mosques that can be used as religious tourism in Bandung:

1. Al Jabbar Grand Mosque

Al Jabbar Grand Mosque is located in Gedebage District, Bandung City. This mosque went viral because it was seen floating in a lake, and eventually, this mosque became known as the Gedebage Floating Mosque. This mosque was designed by Ridwan Kamil, who was still the mayor of Bandung and was inaugurated in 2020.

Al Jabbar Mosque is a religious tour where visitors can worship and increase knowledge with the facilities provided. According to aljabbar.jabarprov.go.id, this mosque provides many spaces for learning, such as thematic parks that tell the prophets and history museums. The history museum contains the history of the development of Islam in the country and the history of Islam in West Java.

2. Bandung Grand Mosque

Bandung Grand Mosque, or Bandung Great Mosque, is the provincial mosque in West Java. It is located in Bandung Square or, more precisely, on Jalan Asia-Afrika, the center of Bandung. The Bandung Grand Mosque is an old mosque built in 1810 but was only inaugurated on June 4, 2003, because it underwent eight renovations.

Like other provincial mosques in other cities, the Bandung Grand Mosque is a religious tourist spot often visited by Muslims from outside the city. The Mosque offers spacious and comfortable worship facilities, a library, a cooperative, a polyclinic, and multi-purpose hall that can be utilized by many people, and a large garden for those who want to relax.

3. Trans Studio Grand Mosque

The Trans Studio Grand Mosque is a magnificent mosque in the Trans Studio Bandung tourist area. The Trans Studio area is the largest tourist area and includes malls, factory outlets, 6-star hotels, playgrounds, and others. With its location close to tourism, people can not only enjoy the beauty of the Trans Studio Grand Mosque but also enjoy other tours provided by TSB.

4. Lautze 2 Mosque

Lautze 2 Mosque is a unique religious tourism visit because it has a building with Chinese accents. This mosque was indeed built by H. Ali Karim (son of Abdul Karim Oei Tjeng Hien) who is a Chinese Muslim. In addition, Lautze 2 mosque is also the oldest Chinese Muslim mosque in Bandung. Unlike the previous mosque, Lautze Mosque does not have a knowledge room like a museum, but the Chinese ornaments in this mosque can be a new experience for Muslims to worship.

5. Al Imtizaj Mosque

Just like the Lautze 2 Mosque, Al Imtizaj Mosque is a mosque that has buildings and ornaments with Chinese nuances. The purpose of building this mosque is to carry out blending between ethnic Chinese Muslims and other non-Chinese Muslims.
