TEMPO.CO, Solo - Vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka remained reluctant to reveal the topic of discussion during his closed meeting with presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto in East Jakarta last Friday evening, March 22. However, he confirmed that one of the topics discussed was about their future cabinet.
“Many issues [were discussed]. It (cabinet structure) was one of them,” Gibran briefly replied to reporters after arriving at the Solo City Hall, Central Java, on Monday, March 25.
He also confirmed that the meeting also touched on political parties outside the current Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). However, the eldest son of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi kept mum when asked for the details.
Gibran and Prabowo finally met on Friday, March 22, to break the fast together and celebrate the birthday of Prabowo's son, Didit Hediprasetyo.
It was their first meeting since the General Elections Commission (KPU) announced Prabowo-Gibran as the winner of the Presidential Election on Wednesday, March 20, in South Jakarta.
Previously, Gibran said he was absent because he was prioritizing his responsibilities as Mayor of Solo. He also denied that there was any estrangement in the relationship between President Jokowi and Prabowo Subianto.
