TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released its latest weather forecast for Jakarta today, March 13, which predicts that the majority of the capital's area will be cloudy this morning, with a high likelihood of rainfall in the evening.
Since Tuesday evening, North Jakarta and East Jakarta have been drenched in rain. In the early hours of Wednesday, or from 1 am to 7 am, a light shower spread evenly throughout the area, with a possibility of intermittent drizzles persisting throughout the morning and afternoon in South Jakarta and East Jakarta.
Meanwhile, West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands may experience thick cloud cover, and Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are mostly cloudy.
In the afternoon, from 1 pm until 7 pm, the entire city is expected to be wet with light rain.
Today's air temperature is anticipated to hover around 24-30 degrees Celsius, with a humidity level ranging from 75-95 percent. The winds are expected to blow from the north to the west, with a velocity of 10-25 kilometers per hour.
