Jokowi to Hold Plenary Cabinet Meeting Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi will lead a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace today, Monday, Dec.11, 2023. The meeting will be attended by all high-ranking officials and members of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet to discuss a myriad of issues.
It was informed that Jokowi and his cabinet would discuss Christmas and New Year preparation and the recent economic situation as well as evaluation of governmental programs and activities throughout 2023.
Plenary cabinet meeting usually focuses on the general problem of critical issues faced by the country and the general conduct of the government. It must be differentiated with limited meetings, a meeting attended by specific ministers or high-ranking officials to discuss actual issues emerging within society.
In 2023, Jokowi has led three plenary cabinet meetings. The first one was on January 16, 2023, to discuss the State Budget Plan for 2023 and evaluate the 2022 State Budget.
The second plenary cabinet meeting was held on March 2, 2023. Jokowi led a meeting to discuss the Government's Work Plan 2024, Policies in the Civil State Apparatus Department, and Bureaucracy Reform.
On Monday, July 3, 2023, Jokowi led a plenary cabinet meeting on the State Budget Implementation Report for the first semester of 2023. Jokowi reminded his administration during this meeting to remain vigilant while facing the unstable global situation.
