Next Week's Agenda: Jogja Coffee Week, 43rd ASEAN Summit, and Science et Impact 2023

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - For next week's agenda, Tempo English has compiled several events set to be held, starting from September 1 until 9, 2023. Those events include the Jogya Coffee Week, the 43rd ASEAN Summit, the Science et Impact, and the Journee Portes Ouvertes 2023.

1. Jogja Coffee Week 2023
An event for coffee lovers entitled the "Jogja Coffee Week 2023" will be held on a large scale at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) Yogyakarta on September 1 to 5, 2023.
The event which is targeted to gain 50,000 participants will bring together hundreds of coffee-based businesses. Starting from the upstream or among the farmers, to the downstream or coffee business actors from the micro to corporate scale.
"In this event various developments in Indonesian coffee products will be exhibited," said the Chairperson of the Jogja Coffee Week Committee, Rahadi Saptata Abra.
2. 43rd ASEAN Summit
Soon the 43rd ASEAN Summit will take place in Indonesia. This time, the 43rd ASEAN Summit will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 5-7 September 2023.
Slightly different from the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, the 43rd ASEAN Summit will not only be attended by organizational leaders from ASEAN countries, but also from partnering countries such as China, India, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the Russian Federation, and the United States.
3. Science et Impact 2023
Launched by the French Embassies in Indonesia and in Timor Leste, this program complements existing programs by providing a flexible, reactive and accessible funding to support science and technology cooperation. Aims to support French actors to continue their cooperation projects with Indonesia and Timor Leste.

4. Journee Portes Ouvertes 2023
The French Institute of Indonesia, or Institut Français d'Indonésie (IFI), will again be holding a Journee Portes Ouvertes (JPO) or "Open House" simultaneously on September 9, 2023, with a variety of interesting and varied events to get to know more about IFI Thamrin, Wijaya, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Surabaya.
