PT Astra Agro Lestari Pays Out Rp 404 Dividends per Share

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. (IDX: AALI) has decided to pay the dividends of last year's net profit. In an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) Monday, April 3, the company decided to pay out Rp404 dividend per share for a total of Rp777.57 billion, which is the equivalent of a dividend payout ratio of 45 percent.
AALI's communication and investor relations manager Fenny Sofyan said that the cash dividend of Rp404 per share also includes an interim dividend of Rp85 per share that was paid out on 24 October 2022.
"The remaining Rp319 per share will be paid on May 4, 2023 to shareholders whose names are in the company's list of shareholders as of 4:00 p.m., April 14, 2023," Fenny said in a company's online public expose today, April 3.
Astra Agro Lestari currently has 1.92 billion shares outstanding. Thus, the total cash dividend distributed was Rp777.57 billion.
Astra Agro Lestari posted a revenue of Rp21.82 trillion in 2022, down 10.25 percent from 2021's Rp24.32 trillion. The decline was followed by a net profit correction of 12.41 percent to Rp1.72 trillion.
