Jakarta Allocates 60,000 Doses of Covid Vaccines Daily for Second Boosters

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Health Office provides a total of around 60,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine per day in 300 locations. These are for the second booster or fourth dose for people aged 18 and above.
"We provide around 200 doses per location," Jakarta Health Office's head of surveillance, epidemiology and immunization said in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 24.
To get the fourth dose, Nabila said, people can simply come to the location and show their ID card.
The Jakarta Health Office provides around 300 vaccination services per day every Monday to Sunday at 44 sub-district (kecamatan) health centers. Afternoon and evening vaccination is available from 16:00-20:00 from Monday to Friday.
The Jakarta Health Office is also rolling out the fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccination for the city's civil servants as well as the general population for people age 18 and older from January 24 to 27.
The booster rollout will be held for four days until Friday, January 27, from 13:00 to 15:00 at the Jakarta City Hall, the Thousand Islands Administrative District Office in the Mitra Praja Tanjung Priok building, as well as all mayor's office of Jakarta's administrative cities. The vaccines given are Pfizer and Zifivax.
