TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Health Office will start rolling out the second booster or the fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccines starting Tuesday, January 24, 2023. The vaccines will be administered to the city's civil servants as well as the general population for people aged 18 and older.
The booster rollout will be held for four days until Friday, January 27, from 13:00 to 15:00 in a number of locations including all mayor's offices of Jakarta's administrative cities. The vaccines given are Pfizer and Zifivax.
People can simply walk into one of the seven locations without waiting for a ticket issued via the PeduliLindungi app.
"Just come to the location. [The vaccination] is valid for [holders] of ID cards [KTP] issued in Indonesia," the Health Office wrote in a post to its Instagram account.
Previously, Jakarta Health Office's head of surveillance, epidemiology, and immunization Ngabila Salama said that in order to accelerate the 4th dose of vaccination for ages 18 and over, the Jakarta Provincial Government will have 300 vaccination points on standby daily, including weekends.
