TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Recognizing prospective buyers' characteristics is necessary in the world of export. The Indonesian Ministry of Trade has revealed several distinctive features of buyers from India.

"In the world of exports, knowing the characteristics of the prospective buyers that you encounter is an important factor," as stated by the Trade Ministry on its official Instagram, Wednesday, January 19, 2023.

The following are some of the characteristics of buyers from India according to the Ministry of Trade:

- Approached in an amicable manner
- Maintaining trust in working relationships;
- Approach with India's key players related to culture;
- Pay attention to indirect communication (body language);
- Comprehend the principle of value for money in India

Therefore, with this characteristic, what can be exported to India from Indonesia? According to the source from the official website of the Trade Ministry's Human Resources Training Center for Export and Trade Services (PPEJP), there are 10 Indonesia-featured products, some of which have been exported to India, such as coffee, palm oil, cocoa, and components for motorized vehicle.

The 10 potential Indonesian products with export destinations to India are herbal medicines, skin products, vegetable oils, and medical devices.
