He is scheduled to travel in a car to reach the location of the mining site which is located roughly around 3,325-4,285 meters above sea level.
Jokowi will also visit the underground mine site at OB 04 to inspect an area that functions as a control room for 5G-based heavy equipment technology and the underground Deep Mill Level Zone (DMLZ) to inspect the facility’s underground houses of worship; Jami Baabul Munawwar Mosque and the Oikumene Soteria Church.
"The president will head to the Tera shop to launch the latest technology in the mining sector, namely 5G mining, a technology that is the result of a collaboration between the Telkom Group and PT Freeport Indonesia," the Presidential Palace wrote in a statement.
The President was already present on Wednesday as he met with employees of the mining giant in Papua.
“I want to witness what it is like to manage a mining facility with a 5G system, I want to see it tomorrow,” said Jokowi yesterday.
