AP II recorded the number of airplane passengers during ten days before Eid Al-Fitr until ten days after Eid Al-Fitr reached up to 4.1 million passengers, 20 percent higher compared to the initial 3.4 million passengers target.

Awaluddin said that the high mobility of passengers is in line with the mobility of airplanes, which reaches around 32,000 flights, and specifically 26,000 flights in Soekarno-Hatta airport.
"The high air traffic is in line with high load factor, which during the 2022 Eid transportation reaching up to an average of 87 percent," Awaluddin said.
The high mobility of passengers and airplanes was also supported by the extension of airport operational hours.
Before the Eid Al-Fitr transportation period, the total operating hour in 20 airports managed by AP II was 228 hours per day cumulatively. Meanwhile, during the Eid transportation period, the operating hour increases to 240 hours per day.

"After two years of no Eid transport, we witnessed the high spirit of stakeholders and airport staff in synergizing to serve homecomers, in which such spirit resulted in amazing contribution in the success of 2022 Eid transportation in AP II airports," Awaluddin said.
