BMKG Forecasts Rainstorm Over Indonesian Regions

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) warns that a large number of regions in Indonesia will likely be hit by a potential rainstorm, which include a large portion of Java Island and Kalimantan.
The agency listed the areas as follows: Aceh, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Jakarta, Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua.
Meanwhile, regions that will likely see potential thunderstorms are North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, and North Sulawesi.
According to the data provided by the BMKG, air temperature will range between 20-32 degrees celsius with humidity levels between 60-100 percent. Other regions such as Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Denpasar, Palu, Ambon and Jayapura are mostly cloudy.
