TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government on Wednesday recorded that 260,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the capital city have joined the Jakpreneur entrepreneurship development program. This figure exceeded the five-year target of 200,000 new entrepreneurs.
"This is an extraordinary achievement," said Acting Head of Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative Small and Medium Enterprises Service Agency Andri Yansyah in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
Entrepreneurs joined in Jakpreneur will get a business coaching and development training for free in seven superior programs dubbed the P7.
This includes training and skills programs, assistance on halal certification, packaging design, and intellectual property rights. Furthermore, there’s provision of free licensing facilities, which is currently also cooperating with the Capital Investment and One Stop Services Agency (DPMPTSP).
P7 also provides marketing assistance, financial report learning, and access to capital. The Jakarta Industry Agency also collaborates with the community, universities, private sector and government agencies to develop entrepreneurship in the capital city.
