TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Health Ministry is collaborating with Traveloka and state airline operator Angkasa Pura II to provide Covid-19 vaccination at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Passengers can start getting vaccinated at the airport starting July 12, 2021 at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

"Traveloka makes it easy for the public to register online by prioritizing a structured vaccination schedule to avoid overcrowding," Traveloka director of transport Iko Putera said on Tuesday, July 13.

Registration is via the 'Traveloka Xperience' available feature in the Traveloka app.

The vaccination service is open daily from 08:00 to 17:00 until July 25, 2021, targeting people age 18 and above, including senior citizens, regardless of their domicile.

Throughout the airport vaccine rollout, the Health Ministry and Angkasa Pura II are targeting to inoculate 14,000 people with the first dose.

Agus Haryadi, executive general manager at Soekarno-Hatta International, said that providing vaccination at the airport was a correct move. "Airports are gateways to people who have to travel, and the daily traffic is quite high," he said.
