TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Cathedral spokesperson Susyana Suwadie reminded all worshippers, who are willing to attend Easter services on April 2-4, at the Cathedral Church in Pasar Baru, to follow several requirements.
"There are several requirements for those who want to attend the church services; one of them is you have to be registered at the Cathedral," she said on April 2.
Susyana added that the congregations also have to register through belarasa.id.
Only those who aged 18-59 years can attend the church services. You also have to fill the 'self assesment' form, which explains your mobility history for the past 14 days, as well as your medical record.
Once you are registered on belarasa, you will get a QR code as the access to enter the church. You also need to bring along your ID card. “You'll get your temperature be checked, have to wash hands, and wear a mask," Susyana explained.
Congregations are asked to not bring excessive or big-sized belongings in order to speed-up the checking through the metal detector or X-ray when entering the church.
Jakarta Cathedral limits the number of attendance to only 20 percent or 309 people. Up to today, the quota to attend the church services from Good Friday until Easter Sunday is still available.
Jakarta Military Commander Mayor General Dudung Abdurrachman and Jakarta Metro Police Chief Ins. Gen Fadil Imran ensured that Easter masses until Thursday evening on April 1, in Jakarta went well. "The people felt comfortable during the worship," said Dudung when visiting and monitoring the Jakarta Cathedral, Pasar Baru on Thursday.
