TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Management of Tanjung Priok Terminal in North Jakarta provide facilities to conduct antigen rapid test for bus passengers and crews.
Head of Tanjung Priok Terminal Mulya, said on Monday, December 21, 2020, that the antigen rapid test service is dedicated to crews of inter-city inter-provincial bus (AKAP). Meanwhile, passengers are only obliged to take the antibody rapid test.
The service was provided in an effort to prevent the spreading of Covid-19 during the Christmas and New Year holiday period. "After the rapid test, the results will be provided in a form of a statement letter," Mulya said.
For the antigen rapid test, every bus crew will have to pay IDR 150,000. Meanwhile, the antibody rapid test for passengers is available for IDR 100,000.
"Because the activity is a cooperation, the antigen and antibody rapis test cost can be pushed to a minimum compared to services outside the terminal," Mulya added.
On 21 December 2020, as many as seven bus crews were taking the antigen rapid test, while eight passengers were taking the antibody rapid test. Out of fifteen passengers tested, two were declared reactive of Covid-19.
"For non-reactive results, we allow to continue the trip, as for reactive results we suggest to take swab test and self-isolation, not allowed to continue the trip," Mulya said.
