Judith Neilson Insitute for Journalism and Ideas

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tempo and a number of Asian media join the #AsianStories program to support collaboration works for investigative reports. This program is supported by Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas, a non-profit institution based in Sidney, Australia.

The collaboration, which was first launched on February 25, 2020, will run for at least the next six months. The Asian Stories Program is a commitment of Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas to support quality journalism in Asia.

Tempo is involved in two investigative projects focusing on issues of digital crime, as well as energy and environment. Tempo collaborates with the South China Morning Post, the Korea Times, the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, and ABS-CBN in the Philippines for digital crime coverage. 

Meanwhile, for energy and environment issues, Tempo partners with Malaysiakini, the Centre for Media and Development Initiatives (MDI) Vietnam, Tortoise Media in Britain, The Australian Financial Review, Japan's Waseda Chronicle, and the Korea Center for Investigative Journalism Newstapa in South Korea.
