Covid-19 Task Force Update; Over 4,000 New Cases Recorded

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The national Covid-19 task force announced on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, that there are 4,265 new cases on November 18, adding the total cases nationwide to 478,720 cases. 

Jakarta continues to dominate the number with a total of 1,148 new cases, followed by Central Java, East Java, and West Java, with 495, 480, and 365 new cases, respectively.

The new cases was recorded from tests conducted against 41,942 specimens by government healthcare professionals. The Covid-19 task force also recorded 64,430 new case suspects. Meanwhile, another 110 patients succumbed to the virus and added to a total of 15,503 deaths.

The positive news comes from the number of recoveries which increases by 3,711 recoveries which adds to Indonesia's total recovery to 402,347.
