Jakarta Health Agency Urged to Conduct Covid-19 Tracing in Rizieq Shihab's Event

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria instructed the city’s Health Agency to conduct Covid-19 tracing related to the wedding reception of Rizieq Shihab’s daughter and Maulid Nabi or commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday in Petamburan, Central Jakarta.
“We have asked the health agency to do the tracing in Petamburan,” said Riza to Tempo in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
The Gerindra politician claimed the tracing result in Petamburan has not been issued as the agency was still planning the implementation. “It requires time. The Health Agency will manage it,” Riza added.
Recently, the coronavirus rapid test result of Petamburan sub-district head Setiyanto reportedly came back reactive. However, he has not been diagnosed to be positive yet pending the swab test result.
Riza said Setiyanto was undergoing independent isolation while waiting for the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) swab test results from Kramat Jati Police Hospital. “Yes, it is informed to be reactive, but it is just a rapid test so it will be checked again [through swab test]. We'll see.”
The police initially summoned Setiyanto over the Rizieq Shihab’s crowded events in Petamburan. Yet the examination was postponed after Setiyanto was found to have a reactive result to Covid-19 rapid test.
