TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Health Agency’s head of public health, Fify Mulyani, said Friday that the city administration had conducted a total of 20,532 coronavirus rapid tests up until Thursday, April 2.

“The rapid tests produced 20,104 negative results and 427 positives,” said Fify in her statement today.

East and West Jakarta each saw 177 samples test positive from over 7,000 samples in the two areas. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands (Kepulauan Seribu) regency had the least positive samples with one testing positive out of 52 tested samples.

According to Fify, the city administration conveys its appreciation to everyone that has rallied together in fighting the coronavirus outbreak and says that there are three new collaborators donating to the government’s fight against the virus.

Until Thursday, donations to the Jakarta administration consist of 400 liters of disinfectants, 100 liters of hand sanitizers from BRI Jakarta Kota, 51 coverall units from Jakarta volunteers, 500 pairs of boots from Restu Raya Persada along with 36,000 multivitamin caplets. Tokopedia also donated 10 goggles and 13 thermometers.

“The total amount of collaborators from March 18 to April 2 is 46,” said Fify.

Those intent on donating to the government are given the options to directly drop-off the aid at City Hall’s Block G on the second floor or via bdcn.jakarta.go.id or chat centers: 081196000196 and 081196000197
