TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An electric transformer in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, caught fire this morning, Monday, January 13, 2020 at 06:45.
The Electric substation's fire caused black smoke around the location. "It's being handled by the Firefighter Department," said Head of Central Jakarta's Firefighter Hardisiswan to Tempo this morning.
Hardi already deployed three fire trucks to get rid of the fire. He said the fire is still burning.
Hardi has yet to give the initial cause of the fire accident in Jalan Ahmad Yani. The supply of electricity in Johar Baru is now disconnected due to the fire.
