Foreigner Found Dead in Taman Rasuna Apartment

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police are investigating the discovery of a dead foreigner inside a unit of Taman Rasuna Apartment in Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The body was found on Monday, March 25. 

Setiabudi Sector Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Tumpak Simangunsong confirmed the discovery. The foreigner was found inside the apartment's Unit 21 E, Tower 16.

"Our team is now investigating the crime scene and autopsying the body," he said on Monday.

Tumpak said the police cannot provide many details about the case, as the crime scene unit is still trying to identify the victim. 

"We will inform the developments once we have results," he said.
